Tory MP accuses Unilever of “exploiting the consumer” – while taking cash from loan sharks

Tory MP Sir Gerald Howarth is raging against Unilever today for trying to raise the price of its products  – accusing the company of attempting to “exploit the consumer” after the massive fall in the value of the pound:


Of course, Howarth should know all about exploiting the consumer.

Sir Gerald has been trousering tens of thousands in cash from a US payday lender called Enova Online Holdings – which owns controversial UK payday loan sharks CashEuroNet UKQuickQuid and Pounds to Pocket:
